Preparing for retirement. “What steps should I take as retirement get closer?”

When your children leave home, it is the perfect time to revisit your retirement and investment plan. Does your retirement and investment plan need a make-over? The goal is to compare where you are with where you need to be and take steps to correct course. You can do this on your own though you may wish to consult with a financial advisor to help make the needed calculations and to examine realistic alternatives.
